I am Maria Kelepouri and I was born in a family which valued hospitality very much! In our house, people were always coming and going. There was a big family and an even bigger network of family friends!
Later on, I studied marketing, worked for numerous companies, and had the opportunity to travel quite a lot. I quickly found out that my experience was always much better if a knew at least one local. There was a significant difference when I was visiting a place alone or with my friends and we were just tourists, to when there was someone there to help us. Someone to provide a tip or two, information only the locals have. A friend who would suggest what not to miss.
